Sta.sh
Name derived from shinrei which means shrine and shugenja which refers to the practitioners of shugendo. Also called yamabushi these monks underwent strenuous training such as meditating underneath waterfalls in winter. Ninja would also undertake these tasks to strengthen themselves and some even became shugenja.
The Ninja Spirit Pokemon
The ancient spirit of a ninja master that gained immense power after studying with monks. It obscures its face with a somen* so no one knows what its face actually looks like. It is regarded as holy and occasionally can be seen around shrines.
*Somen is a type of Mempo (facial armour) that covers the entire face.

User gains all the benefits of being a Dark type (S.T.A.B. bonus,
resistances and immunity)
